Places In Africa That Live Up To The Hype



I haven’t gone to any famous landmark or tourist. Personally I haven’t traveled so much, but some tourist and backpacker have left a good picture of what these places look like and they really live up to the hype. You’d be wondering if tourist and backpacker aren’t the same, yes! They are the same, they are both tourist since they both are visiting a foreign land/country.
A tourist wants to see the local life, see their culture and all the happenings in the foreign land but a backpacker wants to live the life of the foreign land, feel among the people of the land. So I will be running through some place in Africa that live up to the hype they have been given, without you getting disappointed when you finally made the decision of being a tourist or a backpacker.






The Okavango Delta Game Reserve
It’s a vast ecosystem with the Okavango River flowing through into the parched Kalahari Desert. Found in Southern Africa, Botswana. A landlocked country. The land, the people, the animals makes it a place that has live up to the hype given to it. Botswana capital is Gaborone and her currency is Botswana pula.





The Pyramid, Egypt
The ancient Egyptians build pyramid as tombs for the pharaohs and their queens. They were buried in the pyramids. Found in North Africa, Egypt. Their beliefs held that when the pharaoh died, his spirit remain vital in the afterlife. Here in the pyramid asides the body of pharaoh, you will find furniture’s, food and other items in there, as they believe the pharaoh will need them in the afterlife. Egypt capital is Cairo and her currency is Egyptian pound.






Lower Zambezi, National park
Animals roam the unfenced safari camps, Lower Zambezi offer sightseeing of hippos , elephant and other animals drinking from the rivers and tributaries around camp. People who love fishing are also accommodated at various camps and lodges on the banks of the river. Located in East Africa, Zambia. Zambia capital is Lusaka and her currency is Zambian Kwacha






Lake Nakuru National Park
This is home to 1 million flamingos, providing one of the most unforgettable sightseeing in this nation. The lake become famous because of this birds feeding on the algae that grows in the warm and shallow waters, giving sight to fuchsia-pink flamingos. Located, in East Africa, Kenya. Kenya capital is Nairobi and her currency is Kenyan shilling







Yankari National Park
Originally created as a game reserve in 1956 but later designed as biggest national park in the country. Ride through the safari gives beautiful view of different animals. Also enclosed in the park is an ancient cave. Recorded as a refuge during, ethnic frictions and colonial era back in the year, which looks, wow tourist and backpackers. Located in West Africa, Nigeria. Nigeria capital is Abuja and her currency is Naira.
